Modeling enterprise location choice decision behavior

چکیده
This study presents a location choice model that incorporates urban spatial effects for enterprises. A modeling framework is developed to analyze decisions regarding enterprises using series of discrete models including multinomial logit without any effects, incorporating and mixed effects. In this framework, such as the correlation among in deterministic terms zones error term, are captured by particular general. The results indicate land prices given zone strongly affect decision-making process all Tokyo metropolitan area. Moreover, important role proposed will be clarification through comparing three above models. comparison implemented on basis types indicators log likelihood ratio, Akaike information indicator, hit ratio each model.

Accommodating Spatial Correlation across Choice Alternatives in Discrete Choice Models: an Application to Modeling Residential Location Choice Behavior
This paper presents a modeling methodology capable of accounting for spatial correlation across choice alternatives in discrete choice modeling applications. Many location choice (e.g., residential location, workplace location, destination location) modeling contexts involve choice sets where alternatives are spatially correlated with one another due to unobserved factors. In the presence of su...
متن کاملModeling the Choice of Residential Location
The problem of translating the theory of economic choice behavior into concrete models suitable for analyzing housing location is discussed. The analysis is based on the premise that the classical, economically rational consumer will choose a residential location by weighing the attributes of each available alternative and by selecting the alternative that maximizes utility. The assumption of i...

This article develops a parsimonious descriptive model of individual choice and valuation in the kinds of experiments that constitute a substantial part of the literature relating to decision making under risk and uncertainty. It suggests that many of the best known "regularities" observed in those experiments may arise from a tendency for participants to perceive probabilities and payoffs in a...
متن کاملModeling Dynamic Choice Behavior of Customers
A central task in operations is demand estimation, which provides high quality inputs for assortment planning and revenue management (RM). For simplicity, many models in practice assume that each product has its own independent demand stream. However, if products are substitutes, then the demand for a given product will be a function of the set of alternatives available to consumers when they m...
